Why would anyone buy any other machine?

I got my 26" Innova back in 2010 (it was a dealer demo) and I couldn’t be happier with my investment. The machine is a true workhorse and has done everything I have ever asked of it and taken any thread I have thrown at her, including specialty threads like metallic and holographic. I recently decided to upgrade to Lightning Stitch (not factory installed). After only 3 quilts I started getting some error messages and as valiantly as tech support tried to walk me through all the possible causes we could not fix it over the phone. Lucky for me I was able to drop the head off at the Innova facility in New York for some expert TLC my dealer couldn’t do. Not only did they find the problem but also a few others I wasn’t even aware of. They fixed her up and at NO CHARGE!!! Now THAT is customer service. My now almost 9 year old machine is operating like new. Many longarm manufacturers will promise you the sun and the moon at point of sale, but good luck getting any support afterwards. Innova stands behind their products and makes sure the customer is satisfied for years, even decades, after the sale. I am so happy I went with the best machine and the best company when I invested in a longarm. Why would anyone buy any other machine?

Remarkably Positive Support Experience

My name is Stefan and my employer has an INNOVA machine installed in our office. We recently had an issue with the computer running the INNOVA machine which led me to contact Laura, your tech support representative. My experience in working with her to resolve the issue was remarkably positive and I thought you would like to know. Laura is pleasant, thoughtful, and well informed, but I’m guessing you already know this point. Thank you for your time.

2003

By the end of 2003, worldwide demand for the Robo Quilter and the XL6000 was at an all-time high and to expedite shipments we had determined it was time to leave Chicago and head south to one of our nation’s largest shipping ports. In March of 2003 ABM purchased its current facility and relocated to Houston, Texas. The new buildings provide ample floor space for ABM to manufacture up to 1,000 quilting machines per year.

After the introduction of Robo Quilter to the market in October of 1997, sales soared, and another move was required. The new facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois provided more space, which allowed for the assembly of up to 500 machines per year.

1980

During the late 1980's ABM expanded into computer technology and was looking for an influx of energy and new ideas. Michael’s son Neal began working for the company. Together they developed a computerized quilting machine named the XL, expanded sales and marketing efforts overseas, changed the name to ABM International, Inc., and moved to a larger facility in Niles, Illinois.

1960

By 1960 ABM needed more manufacturing space, it was time to move again - this time to a location on Chicago's west side. However, with Arthur's untimely death, Barry and Michael assumed full responsibility of the company and its continued growth.

1950

In the early 1950's the family basement became too small, so ABM moved to a three-story building on the south side of Chicago. It was during this time that Arthur's sons Barry and Michael got involved in the business, working to expand the types of equipment manufactured while simultaneously servicing more markets.
