In 1947 in his garage in Chicago, Illinois Arthur Schwarzberger developed a simple sewing concept for quilting machines that could cross over sewing lines. Arthur refined his concept and began manufacturing mechanical track quilting machines for the comforter, bedspread, and mattress markets. Sales started to grow, and the small company named ABM Industries began to expand.

About Navigator P2
Navigator P2 robotics system operates under similar control same as found on our large format CNC industrial quilting machines.
ABM International is the original inventor of computerized quilting, holding United States Patents. Building on the INNOVA’s ability to sew 3000 stitches per minute, Navigator P2 provides a maximum travel speed of 8inches per second with an average travel speed of 4 inches per second.
Equipped with robust stepper motors and American- made electronics, the Navigator P2 easily delivers quality professional results suitable for hire to the casual home user.
An excellent safeguard, if the bobbin thread runs out you can simply move the sewhead to the exact location where stitching stopped and resume from that point.
The incredible quick release system allows the quilter to easily go back to free-motion quilting in just a few seconds.
Steel eliminates stretching and reduces backlash from the belt.
The zero-backlash transmission eliminates deviations in movement.
The motors sense quilter feedback and assist in machine movement to bring great ease to quilting, reduce strain, and help individuals with ailments.
Easily view stitching beneath the quilt by plugging a USB camera into the PC and mounting it to the sew head below the quilt.
Operate Navigator P2 from the convenience of your laptop, tablet, or desktop with the Navigator P2 Simulator. Attaching robotics is not required for operation, which enables you to work on your project away from your machine!
